Canine Adenovirus Ag Rapid Test
Overview
The Canine Adenovirus Ag Rapid Test is a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed for the qualitative detection of Canine Adenovirus Antigen (CAV Ag) in canine ocular or nasal secretions. This test kit is primarily used in clinical settings to diagnose adenovirus infections in dogs.
Key Features
- Test Time: 5 – 10 minutes
- Test Samples: Ocular or nasal secretions
Detection Principle
The Canine Adenovirus Ag Rapid Test operates on a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay principle. The test device features a testing window with an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone. The procedure involves the following steps:
- Collect the sample and apply it to the sample hole on the device.
- The liquid from the sample will laterally flow across the surface of the test strip.
- If the sample contains sufficient Adenovirus-II antigen, a visible T band will appear.
- The C band should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result.
By this method, the device can accurately indicate the presence of Canine Adenovirus-II antigen in the sample.
Reagent Materials
