Rapid CPV Ag Test Kit
Overview
The Rapid CPV Ag Test Kit is designed for in vitro qualitative detection of Canine Parvovirus Antigen (CPV Ag) in canine fecal samples. This test kit is primarily used in clinical settings to determine whether a canine is infected with parvovirus.
Test Details
- Test Time: 10 minutes
- Test Samples: Canine feces
Detection Principle
The test employs an immunofluorescence sandwich method to qualitatively detect CPV Ag in canine feces. The procedure is as follows:
- Collect the sample and add it to the sample diluent. Mix thoroughly.
- Drop the mixed sample into the well of the test card.
- The CPV Ag in the sample reacts with a fluorescently labeled antibody coated on the glass fiber, forming a complex.
- Through chromatography, the complex and unreacted fluorescently labeled antibody diffuse forward along the nitrocellulose membrane.
- The complex is captured by the corresponding antigen fixed on the nitrocellulose membrane detection line.
- The amount of complexes formed and fluorescently labeled antibodies accumulated on the test line correlates with the amount of analytes in the sample.
