Rapid CRV Ag Test Kit
Overview
The Rapid CRV Ag Test Kit is a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed for the qualitative detection of Canine Rotavirus Antigen (CRV Ag) in canine fecal or vomit samples. This test kit is primarily used in clinical settings to diagnose rotavirus infections in dogs.
Key Features
- Test Time: Rapid results
- Test Samples: Canine feces or vomit
Detection Principle
This test employs a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay to detect CRV Ag in canine feces or vomit qualitatively. The procedure involves the following steps:
- Collect the sample and add it to the sample diluent. Mix thoroughly.
- Drop the mixed sample into the well of the test card.
- The CRV Ag in the sample reacts with a labeled antibody coated on the test strip, forming a complex.
- The complex and unreacted labeled antibodies migrate along the test strip through capillary action.
- The complex is captured by the corresponding antigen fixed on the test line.
- The presence of the test line indicates a positive result, signifying the detection of CRV Ag in the sample.
Reagent Materials
- 10 foil pouches, each containing a test cassette and desiccant
- 10 assay buffers
- 10 swabs
