Detection Principle: The Feline Calicivirus Ag Rapid Test operates on the principle of a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device features a testing window with an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When a sample is applied to the sample hole, the liquid flows laterally across the test strip. If the sample contains sufficient FCV antigen, a visible T band will appear. The C band should always be visible after applying the sample, indicating a valid test result. This mechanism ensures the device accurately detects the presence of FCV antigen in the sample.
