Detection Principle:
The FIV Ab + FeLV Ag Combined Rapid Test operates on a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay principle. The device features two testing windows, each containing an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. Upon applying the sample into the sample hole, the liquid flows laterally along the surface of the test strip. If the sample contains sufficient FIV antibodies or FeLV antigens, a visible T band will appear in the corresponding testing window. The C band will always appear after a sample is applied, confirming the test’s validity. This method ensures accurate detection of FIV antibodies and FeLV antigens in the sample.
