Detection Principle: The Giardia Ag Rapid Test operates based on a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device features a testing window with an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When a fecal sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid flows laterally across the surface of the test strip. If there is sufficient Giardia antigen present in the sample, a visible T band will appear. The C band should always appear after applying the sample, indicating a valid result. This mechanism ensures the device accurately detects the presence of Giardia antigen in the sample.
